David Vedera

President

David Vedera is the Owner and President of BV Alan Consulting. He is a proven trusted advisor to technology and manufacturing leaders helping them with their operations and workforce challenges. He specializes in interim and transitional management to companies looking to eliminate waste, transform business success, and recover wasted time.

David leverages 23 years of corporate experience having worked for IBM and Intel. He compliments his corporate experience with six years of entrepreneurial and small business experience to provide a diverse perspective on leading and managing breakthrough performance.

Throughout his career, he has held a variety of positions in manufacturing, mechanical and process engineering, management, training, human resources, and organization development.

David has a business degree in Organizational Leadership from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. He has received specialized training in Human Resources and Organization Development from the Teachers College at Columbia University, and he is a Certified Behavioral Analyst.

David’s professional service extends into the community via his seat on the Board of Directors of WESST, a non-profit organization providing quality entrepreneurial services throughout the state of New Mexico. In addition, David is the Managing Member for Kareer Insights which helps youth and young adults establish a foundation based on the connection of their passions and natural talents in order to enhance their career choices and enrich their life experiences.

Shane Barber

Owner and Vice-President

Shane Barber is the Owner and Vice President of BV Alan Consulting. He is a respected leadership/management coach who partners to help them optimize their workforce strengths and systems design. He specializes in Organizational Design, Operations Management and Innovation/problem solving.

Shane leverages 20 years of corporate experience having worked for the Intel Corporation and as a personal business owner. His diverse skills in management/leadership, systems development, human resource management, professional training/instruction and performance consulting offer his partners a unique set of skills to partner to solve many common business issues.

Shane has a Production Operations Management degree from New Mexico State University. He has received specialized training in Human Resources and Organization Development from the Teachers College at Columbia University, and he is a Certified WorkStyle™ Coach.

Shane’s professional service extends into the community via his seat on Big Brothers Big Sisters Rio Rancho board, a non-profit organization providing one to one mentorship to children. In addition, Shane is the Director of Development for Kareer Insights which helps youth and young adults establish a foundation based on the connection of their passions and natural talents in order to enhance their career choices and enrich their life experiences.

Heidi Howley

Executive Coach

Heidi Howley, ECPC ACC is an Executive Coach and Consultant with BV Alan. A trusted resource, she motivates and inspires others to become strong leaders and teams. She supports executives with managing and leading others and managers who want to enhance their overall leadership, interpersonal, or communication skills. Heidi balances her coaching experience with a strong understanding of business systems and process improvements.

Heidi combines 20+ years of experience in global management and Fortune 500 companies with over a decade of successful entrepreneurship to understand all aspects of business. Her corporate background in operations and supply chain management includes international and start-up companies. She ran her own successful business for over 10 years, and now uses her knowledge, experience and skills to support and empower entrepreneurs, executives, and their teams in creating and achieving powerful business goals, overcoming roadblocks and preparing for future challenges.

Heidi holds a BA from the University of Graz in her native Austria and graduated from the Art and Science of Coaching program at the internationally recognized Erickson College in Vancouver, Canada. She is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and serves on the Leadership Committee of the ICF New Mexico Chapter. Heidi is a Certified Behavioral Analyst and uses leading edge assessment tools to build awareness around behavior and communications styles as well as motivators, emotional intelligence and 360 assessments.
